Breakout session 1 (free collecting of drilling objectives/perspectives/ideas). Parallel sessions will be arranged by combination of disciplines:

  4. Geophysics

Brainstorm the potential specific scientific goals and identify possible overlap/common targets between the COSNICA proposals 90’

  • Assigning identified specific objectives and goals for each discipline to the different proposals.
  • Identification of interdisciplinary objectives for each proposal but also for the umbrella proposal.
  • Ranking into primary and secondary objectives.

  • phrasing of the potential specific scientific goals.
  • summarizing of short paragraphs of possible overlap/common targets between the COSNICA proposals.
  • Discussion of site survey data and implications for final target prioritization.

  • Integrate site suggestions and scientific targets of both proposals.
  • formulate overarching challenges for the umbrella proposal.
  • finalize the tasks in IODP challenges and phrase related primary and secondary objectives for each proposal and the umbrella proposal.
